We are happy to announce AEIP’s participation as honorary partner in the 4th Occupational Retirement Provision Forum of HUIORP with the title ‘The future of Occupational Insurance is at a crossroads: The necessity for immediate reforms to boost second pillar growth’. The conference aims to record the developments that have taken place over the past year, on a domestic and international level, in the institution of occupational insurance, as well as in the pension-insurance system in general.
The ultimate goal of the Forum is to create a holistic approach towards the operating philosophy and the role of Occupational Insurance Funds as supplementary pension schemes, and to appropriately communicate it to all stakeholders and parties potentially involved in the occupational insurance sector.
Distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad will deliver empirical analyses and detailed presentations, providing comprehensive and in-depth information to participants on the issues that are currently of concern, and those expected to become of concern in the immediate future, to the second pillar on a domestic and European level.
AEIP Policy Officer Panayiotis Elia will moderate panel IV titled ‘Developments in the European Institutional Framework of Occupational Insurance – Empirical analysis from the perspective of Supervisory Authorities’.
The forum will take place in Athens and online on 22 – 23 February.
